古晋回望录

Its really hard to gather friends for travel nowadays. Even just for a cup of tea, people might not have time to join in together.
Im so happy of this trip as there were 6 of us come from different places and gather in Kuching. Me, Lim Iee, Sook Yee and CK from Jb, Huey Yean and Xue Er from Kl. We all met in Kuching on 19 May 2006. Unfortunately others sister can’t join us… Suak Theng!!
Times flies as still can remember the time we’ve been in 403, but now… 人事已非…
We used to lay on the bed or sit at the balcony to chit chat or gossip. What happen now is, our gathering place has changed and we need to purchase air ticket inorder to meet each other….
Hi….. don’t’ know should I be happy or sad on this…

Anyway, we have a great time in this beautiful city, Kuching. I love it in first sight. Clean and nice place.
The first day was quiet rushing as everyone was busy shopping with the souvenirs, familiar with the place etc etc. Im still quiet blurr with the road system although they have drive us round and round for one place. Hope I can go around myself next time round.
Hahaha… lucky I still can recognize the place I stay… its 430, Jalan Laksamana Zheng Ho 1. right?
The next day, 20th May 2006 was the big days for Corlynn and Kelvin. This was the first time I attending the church wedding and it was different for our chinese customary wedding. Even some of the customary was totally different from west malaysia.
Don’t forget, the dinner was great! We finished almost all the dishes which hardly happened.
Beside that, everybody drunk untill become 'RED PRAWN'. Yucks..... especially me... so ugly in public.
The 3rd day was an excitement day, we setting out to National Park, Gunung Gading. Unfortunately, it was a raining day. We went for the jungle tracking around 3.30pm to our destiny- Waterfall 1 and we climb up to Bukit Apek also …… hahaha... the highest point for us in Gunung Gading.
Your know what happen?? We end up playing cards in the chalet… and the games call ‘bluff’…… its really a fun game as everybody enjoy it and enjoy for the punishment too… people like me, who had drink until being red prawn (chops... i'm not drunk, only high)… hahaha…. Huey Yean also…. she wasn’t a good bluffer…

Then who’s the champion… let me think… Corlynn and Kelvin… especially Corlynn, she uses her naïve character to bluff all of us…. Don’t forget the introducer of the game, Patrick….. He is really good in this game.

We back to Kuching city early in the morning as Patrick need to catch the earliest flight and Kelvin had meeting also. But that’s not the end of our trip. We had tasted the great ‘kok lok mee’ in town… although the waiting time was terrible… almost 45minutes… but it’s really worthy as the mee really nice……… YUMMYYYYY….
Istill can smell the mee now…
After several days of food tasting… we finally get something familiar for ourself… Coffee Bean……. While awaiting Kelvin’s arrival. :P He was a busy man as he needs to work and accompany us for the Kuching Tour.
Thanks you Kelvin…. Of course many thanks to Corlynn also….

Damai beach was our next destination, I wasn’t known there is such a nice place in Kuching. Its make me feel I’m back to Tasmania again… the clear blue sky and the crystal clear water…… BRILLIANT DAY!!

Don’t forget the romance night tours of Kuching City. The older Cat’s statue, the riverside walk, 马中公园 etc etc….. That’s was our last and unforgettable time in Kuching.

Conclusion, nice trip, adventure trip, get together trip, nice people… nice food and just wanna to tell Kuching….. I’ll be back!!!! People, be scared!!!

Corlynn & Kelvin Big Day 20 May 2006

The big day of Corlynn and Kelvin.
This ‘kang cheong’ groom arrived much early than anyone without notifying people.....
He 过五关，暂六将 for all the task, 1st was the sour lemon, 2nd was bitter tea, 3rd was the spicy wasabi bun and the sweet plum…… On top of that, his brothers help to sing song for our lovely bride and act jumping frog on the staircase…. Kelvin, remember to treat your entire brother as they help you a lot…..

Remember the touching church ceremony, the handsome groom hold the lovely bride in front of god and swear to take care of her in his entire life.
I really thank god that Corlynn found his man after so many task. KELVIN, must take care of our little sister…… Don’t bully her…….
Ops… almost forget the pretty ‘jie mei’ group. All the white angles were lovely and pretty that day..
But of course, Corlynn is the prettiest……(she will scold me if I don’t add the last phrase in) :P

1st Day

It was a cloudy day on the first touch of Kuching.
I love this cat city in first sight….. The forest, the wind blow, the smell ….
Can’t believe on myself…. How can love in first sight?

Oh… ya…. This was my first trip after give birth of my lovely daughter…. Almost 3 years plus….
But kind guilty due to abundant her alone ….

We went for shopping and bought a lot of pepper… bags… etcetcetc…
And accompany the lovely bride to be (that day only) for her last shopping…. Cann’t believe this sotong forget a lot of important things.
We settle down after whole day of shopping in the late afternoon. 6 people squeeze in a room… wah.. We went back to our college life again…..

We had our dinner at Corlynn’s older brother’s restaurant. Lovely tomato mee, delicious claypot rice, yummy steam chicken etcetcetc……
